Cars and Cookies is a car show that hopes to raise awareness of the increase instances of colon cancer, specifically in younger people. It is now the number 1 cause of cancer deaths in people under 50 years of age. Glen was diagnosed when he was 34 years old, and passed away 1 year after being diagnosed, going through chemo and multiple surgeries. He loved his Nissan S14 Kouki and his mother’s cookies, thus Cars and Cookies was born. This year, the proceeds raised will be donated to the Lehigh Valley American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery program which supplies rides for patients to their cancer treatments. We will have car awards, raffle prizes, food truck and DJ at the event. Macungie Memorial Park has a no glass container policy, please honor that. Show runs from 9-1.
