The 18th Wings of Hope presented by St. Luke’s Cancer Center, a butterfly release event, will see the event move to a new home in Bear Creek. The event is rain or shine and is free to the public.
The event will feature live music, family activities, raffles and more, culminating in the release of hundreds of butterflies to honor members of our cancer community.
Participants may purchase live butterflies in honor of or in memory of someone with cancer. At the designated time, all butterflies will be released. In 2024, 400 butterflies took to the air.
Participants may also purchase paper butterflies in honor of or in memory of someone with cancer. Once the name is added and the butterfly decorated, it will be displayed on a curtain in the Field of Butterflies presented by Capital Blue.
