In my life, I’ve spent so much time helping others, whether through my community work or business, that I’ve started to lose sight of what makes me happy. I realized that by focusing so much on others, I’ve forgotten to check in with myself. It’s time to stop and ask, “What truly brings me joy?”
To find inner happiness, I need to take a step back, reflect, and think about what I need to feel fulfilled. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle of helping others, but taking a moment to pause and ask, “What makes me happy?” is essential for personal growth.
This journey requires getting outside your comfort zone. Take a moment each day to reflect on what you truly desire—whether it’s a place you want to visit, a new hobby, or simply a quiet moment. Ask yourself, “What brings me the most happiness?”
Sometimes, we need to be selfish in the best way: prioritize your own happiness. It’s not about neglecting others but making sure you’re living intentionally for yourself. Your happiness matters, and finding it is worth the effort.
In the end, only you can decide what makes you happy. Take the time to explore, reflect, and go after what lights you up inside. This is your life, and your happiness is worth it.
